Nine weeks old and already a die-hard Blues fan. Pity little Oliver had to endure first game of the 2016 season where Carlton should have won. Going to have to learn to suck it up young man.

What could be better than a few mates hanging out at one of the favourite places on Southbank. As school friends we have an impressive 50 years of association. The one face missing is Brent who raced off to start the house moving process during the afternoon. Besides that Tony, Adrian, Allan, Dave and Bruce were happy to spend the whole afternoon watching the crowd go by on a Friday afternoon.

We arrived back in Canberra to find the apartment in pristine condition. Well done Steph given that she had constant visitors while we were away. Obviously the apartment has been well used and this is great. The supply of red wine is a little diminished...just less to deal with when returning to Melbourne. Also we established that Steph does not do plants! Looks like artificial is all that will work for Steph.

True South - Tasmanian restaurant in Southgate has a good start to the year
Around a quarter century of friendship represented at a (now) annual event as the boys get together at Southbank. Prompted by the fleeting visit from Adrian we were able to swap tales.

After attending Family Life's cocktail party and purchasing a session with Hamish and Andy, Julie and her crew seem to have flourished in the atmosphere of limelight and fame.

Our community on the move - sometimes sedate like Av in Spain or at 215km/hr like Tony at Winton. The Glenn's would not trade their sailing in the Whitsundays, while Adrian and Kristy check out Canada's best and Steph has a weekend at Australia's best.
