Reporter: Amanda
Leaving Melbourne behind we travelled west to visit our first silo at Rupanyup and then to Sheep Hills both impressive and quite different, our first night was spent at the Warracknabeal  Motel, no Hyatt but we were a bit weary after the day in the car and the bed was comfy.

We headed out early to Brim , Rosebery, Albacutya ( I bet no one has been there!!!!!) after a coffee in Hopetoun we then went to Lascelles and Patchewollock .

All Silos were so different, quite remote and no one else around when we were there!

Mildura for three nights, weather was perfect, we experienced Orange world, the joining of the Murray and the Darling Rivers, Dinner at Stefanos, lunch at Trentham Estate and a day trip to Mungo National Park, a road not for the faint hearted or the best car! 2 hours on corrugations and sand! Unfortunately when we got there most of the tourist road was closed  however we did experience see the sand hills and the amazing landforms.

Echuca was the next stop on our adventure, where we visited Tony and Judy enjoying a delicious home cooked meal and catching up.
Our final leg of the trip took us to Bendigo, Dave and Marg joined us there and we went to the Elvis Exhibition at the Art Gallery - was terrific and certainly well worth a visit ( it is on till mid July )

We traveled lots of kilometres but enjoyed the changing landscapes and catching up with friends.
