I am submitting my footy tips to you this week from London. Perhaps I will be more successful in selecting winners from afar - my tipping record so far this season has been dreadful! Anyway, Janet and I have been in London since last Sunday and are having a great time taking in all the sights. It's been a few years since we were last here and, apart from the usual suspects, we have managed to do and see some new things such as a boat ride on the Thames down to Greenwich, which was really interesting. Last night, we managed to get to the theatre and saw 'War Horse' and thoroughly enjoyed it. The puppeteers are amazing and after awhile the horses seem to be the real deal. The main reason we are here is to attend a wedding on Saturday. It is for the daughter of friends of ours and is being held at a curiously named place - the Nonsuch Mansion out in Surrey. It promises to be an interesting occasion! Next week, we head off to Spain and I will submit my footy tips from Barcelona . . . with a further update on our travels.
