2nd stop - Vancouver

Steph and Kristy are comtemplating the footy finals from Kristy's apartment in downtown Vancouver.  It appears that Steph is happy to be able to walk around on relatively flat ground after the hills of San Francisco.
Kristy and Steph are about to embark on the next part of their journey to Chicago, via Seattle and then on to New York where they are meeting up with Kate and our three tipsters can make their picks for the Grand Final from the middle of Time Square.

Hi guys,
So I've made it...what a flight! Forgot how horrible such long flights are, barely slept a wink, but still going, trying not to yawn too much :)

I've had a great day, bought a bus pass which will get me around on the tourist buses for the next few days which is good. The hostel I'm in is in a good spot near union sq, near all the shops! So needless to say I've already been shopping...think I might need a new bag quicker than I thought hehe. Also went to fishermans wharf today and was able to see Alcatraz despite the fog. Then made my way back via little Italy and Chinatown, both very cool and quite different. Lots of little pockets around the place which is cool. And went to the 'krookedist' st in the world...very funny!

Met a nice girl in my room and we're just looking up a place she knows to go to tonight. Part of me just wants to crawl into bed but figure I should make the most of it!

Free wifi in the hostel so easy to email u! I'll let you know how my day goes tomorrow...plan to go across the golden gate bridge and have a look at some of the nice parks. Weather suppose to be improving, bit chillier here than i thought, but still nicer than melbourne!
