What is special in 2016

Noosa calling

What a pleasant way to spend a week.  The Werner's and Glenn's have joined forces in Noosa to keep the SE Qld economy on the move.  It is always hard to leave the 30 degrees behind.
For the Glenn's it started with a few days in Coolum while the Werner's started with a night back in Brisbane.

It was wonderful to see how the city has benefited from the Expo 88 site
But Noosa was the prime focus.  For some of us it was simply an opportunity to chill out.  For Norm it represented an opportunity to try out the great 50m outdoor pool and tackle many of the walking paths and hills as part of his fitness regime while the rest of us enjoyed the icecreams and lazy summer weather around the pool.
The obligatory trip to Eumundi market was a successful day as well as Montville and Mary Cairncross Reserve in Maleny.

We also went back to the Noosa Botanical Gardens to check out the amazing rainforest
Amongst the many highlights was the sunset cruise around the canals of Noosa checking out the mega rich holiday homes and rental that back on to the waterways.  Looks a pretty good lifestyle.

As they say in the Schick ad...the Glenn's liked the product so much, they bought the company.  Glenn's are now proud owners in Club Noosa.  Here they are surveying their new QLD holiday destination.

The Glenn's agree, was a wonderful week. It was a wrench to leave, at least we have booked our return! Extending the holiday was an almost certainty when not everyone was a winner at cards (hey Dave?), but with a bit of fiddling of the rules, all became winners, so the departure date was safe!! The Qld economy grew with purchases by all, capped by a last minute hand bag 😀😀
